Mock Candle Workshop

Location: Zocalo Coffee in Oakland, CA

Brand: Eco Monsters

Styled + Photographed: Hazel Luna Design

Setting the Scene

Thanks to a large window facing us, we had natural lighting. My goal was to create different scenes so the images could be used to promote holiday workshops, and some could be for year round use.

I wanted to ensure every detail felt thoughtfully curated.

Capturing the Experience

As the workshop unfolded, I focused on documenting the various stages of candle-making. Each photo tells a story, whether it's the hands of participants gently pouring wax, the intricate designs of their finished candles, or the shared smiles that emerged during the crafting process. My goal was to encapsulate not just the beauty of the candles but also the joy of creativity that filled the room.

Highlighting Talents

Styling the event allowed me to curate a unique experience that emphasized the art of candle-making. With my eye for detail, I ensured the space not only looked beautiful but also inspired creativity and tranquility among participants. The photographs taken during the workshop reflect the seamless blend of design and the artistic process involved in crafting candles.

Eco Monsters Workshop Campaign

This mock candle workshop served as a wonderful opportunity to highlight not just my skills in styling and photography, but also the ability to create a memorable experience for guests. The warmth of the candles, the engaging atmosphere, and the creativity displayed by each participant made this event truly special.

I look forward to more creative projects that promote community and self-expression.
