Each event is an immersive experience designed by Hazel Luna to bring people together in a way that introduces them to a new world. At these pop ups, everyone will get a chance to fully soak in artwork, connect with others, shop from the HLD collection, and get inspired to play.
Dreamland 2022
My very first art installation was Dreamland in Frederick, MD. It was held outside, out front of an art gallery for the downtown community to walk past and enjoy. As people came across the whimsical set up and art pieces, they
heard dreamy sounds coming from the speakers
had the opportunity to eat cotton candy
given the chance to make a wish
Outside of being able to take in the art, I wanted to provide a full experience to take in what Dreamland means to me.
My next art installation, in California 2025, will be a re-make of Dreamland. Each pop-up art gallery will now be held indoors. You’ll walk into the space and be surrounded (from the left, the right, above, and below) by all aspects of the theme. After you have a chance to walk through the immersive maze, you’ll be met with the lounge area to hangout and the Celebrate shop to purchase HLD art pieces.
